She may be the youngest but her dancing skills make her the main character. Sheena Catacutan is the name, ‘bunso’ as they call her. With her funny antics and outgoing personality, she makes her presence felt and you can’t help but love her for who she is.
If you want to join the wave, the love-dance class is in session. Here’s why BINI member Sheena is loved by many.
1. GIRL POWER AT CORE
Born on May 9, 2004, the same year as fellow member, BINI Jhoanna, put her in the same cluster, they are the ’04 girlies of the group. Aside from that, Gregoria De Jesus y Alvarez 1875, a Filipino revolutionary leader has the same birthday as BINI Sheena. Say no more she truly embodies #GirlPower! What’s more, her being a Taurus girlie reflects in her hardworking personality that shaped to her current success.
2. Main Dancer Things
BINI Sheena started dancing when she was 7 years old, and before joining her current group, she was also a member of the dance group ‘Most One Ted.’ Now, Sheena is the main dancer and sub-vocalist of the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI.
The experience she got from the group she worked with before her skills helped her to slay more on the dance floor. In fact, BINI Sheena choreographed the iconic summer anthem move for ‘Pantropiko,’ which a lot of people tried learning because of its groovy move.
3. Bunso-coded
She stands as the youngest among the BINI members. BINI Sheena’s seven older sisters in the group have also become like real sisters to her. Their love for each other is always shown even before they were trainees. In some interviews with BINI, they advised their “bunso” how they love her and how to be a better person. They have not just built a girl group but also a sisterhood.
4. Love, Isa-belle-a
Who would have known that a young girl from Santiago City, Isabela would become a member of a well-known girl group today? An Ibanág, one who hails from Santiago City, Isabela.
Like her hometown as a 1st class-independent city in her province, this helps Sheena stand up on her own in life.
5. Train, Train, Here to Slay!
Before entering the P-pop world, BINI Sheena first joined Star Hunt Academy in 2018 and became a PBB housemate. After her journey in PBB, she became a trainee under SHA again where she improved her dancing and singing skills through the help of their coaches.
6. I Purple You
Her love for the color Purple is evident in her choice of clothes, dresses, and even her BINI microphone.
7. I Scream, You Scream!
Like her sweet personality, she also loves something sweet, especially ice cream. According to her co-members, Sheena can’t go a day without eating ice cream. I mean, can’t blame her for wanting an ice-cream in this climate!
8. Thumb Bender
Water. Earth. Air. Fire. Long ago, long ago the four nations lived together in harmony… but the thumb-bender can save the world.
Aside from her talent in dancing and singing, she also has a special talent that not everyone knows about–– she can bend her thumb. Not everyone can do that, but Sheena absolutely can.
