As numbers become increasingly significant in the future of podcasting in the Philippines, a community is formed around the released content. Prominent podcasters listen to their peers, fostering a sense of camaraderie. These communities stem from a shared understanding of their backgrounds, the art they produce for a wide audience, and the collective experiences that bind them together. This is what makes the podcasting community in the country special, as I see it, even though I haven’t fully immersed myself in it yet. However, rest assured, I am determined to get there, especially after hearing some of these podcasters share their current favorite podcasts, which I am eager to listen to.
