1. Feisty Bicolana with a Heart

Every Bicolana is known for their love of spicy foods. In the region, it is a staple. We could see how truly Bicolana BINI Gwen is when she played Zeen Magazine’s School of Rank. She was puzzled when her fellow members suggested Bicol Express but her fellow members chose to tone down the spiciness. Her eyebrows furrowed in curiosity, wondered how Bicol Express could be made without its signature spiciness.

2. She’s Invested. Literally.

In an interview on “Magandang Buhay”, Gwen shared that one of the fruits of her hard work is purchasing land and renovating their house. Coming from a humble background where their homes were often affected badly during disasters, and with her mother being a single working mom, this achievement is truly a significant milestone for her.

3. Meet her #1 supporters!

At a young age, Gwen from BINI took it upon herself to contribute to putting food on the table. During every competition, she relied on her family for support, which consists of her mother and four brothers. Her close bond with them is proof of Gwen’s deep love for her family and her willingness to do whatever it takes to support them.

4. Born to be a Star

After her stint on Pinoy Big Brother: Otso, Gwen was among the first to be chosen to train at Star Hunt Academy, a talent search program under ABS-CBN Music. The academy trains the next generation of idols in the country. However, Gwen had moments of doubt about pursuing this path for several factors including far away from family.

5. Her Pizza Bias

Everyone has their comfort food, and if you want to make BINI Gwen happy a box of Pepperoni Pizza is all it takes. BINI Gwen can’t resist Pepperoni Pizza whenever someone asks about her favorite food. Well, who can blame her for loving pizzas!

6. Kuya Raised her so well

Gwen from BINI was also a contestant on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), a reality competition that has launched numerous artists into the entertainment industry. She joined the PBB: Otso edition, where her delightful personality and captivating appearance led to her being dubbed “The Beautiful Bunso-weetie of Albay.”

7. The Rigid Korean Training is in her System

In hopes of becoming the next generation artist in the country, BINI’s Gwen joined the training program at Star Hunt Academy (SHA). Modeled after the Korean idol training system, which has produced popular groups like BTS and BlackPink, SHA featured South Korean producers MU Doctor Academy, including Dok Suri and Kwak Seong Chan, alongside Filipino coaches in singing and dance.

8. Models! Models! Models!

Before entering the entertainment industry, Gwen started her career as a model in Albay. True to form, during her shoot with Zeen Magazine, she showcased her modeling skills with striking poses and a charismatic presence that she possesses.
