Paolo Sandejas and his “Sirens” Chronicles

Paolo Sandejas is making waves as Sony Music Entertainment’s freshest addition.

In just a short period of time, the breakout act has captured the international audience with “Sorry,” a song that BTS’ V co-signed and sang in one of his vlogs. In 2023, Paolo also released “Bloom”, a 6-track EP which featured the hit single “Different Shade of Blue.”

The rising artist also scored a spot at the recent Wanderland Music and Arts Festival 2024, rubbing elbows with big shots in the live music scene like Jack Johnson, Parcels, and Thundercat.

The “Sirens” Agenda

Making waves in the music scene and showing off a more mature vibe, he releases a new single titled “Sirena”. This release also marks a collaboration with Xergio Ramos, the producer responsible for “Someone New.”

Once you dive into the reefs where Sirena lies, it seems like Paolo is saying, “Hey world, I’ve grown up, and my music has too!”

But, maybe these Sirens are the representation of the people we love or just the peace and quiet we desperately seek?

“The final track sounds so much fuller and more polished compared to what I initially brought to him, and I’m really grateful that he took the time and effort to help bring the song to life,” said the Sway artist.

The song “Sirens” is all about finding a sense of home in another person. In his words, the new track captures the liberating feeling of living life spontaneously, knowing that everything will be alright as long as you can spend quality time with the person who you consider to be your home.

“Oh, how you mend my broken bones, And now, I crave your quiet.” These lines convey a sense of healing and longing—a journey from pain to finding peace in someone’s presence. As if the scars are fading, and the quiet moments with that special person become irresistible.

“‘Cause now you feel like home, and suddenly it’s quiet.”  It’s as if the noise of the world fades away, leaving only that peaceful connection. He explains, “I wanted to keep the lyrics really simple with slight variations between verses to tell the story in a subtle way. As writers, we often try to fit as much as we can into a song, but for this track, I wanted to be as efficient as I could while still telling its story.”

Listen to ‘Sirens’ now and let Paolo Sandejas take you on a journey from pain to peace. Find your quiet, find your home.
