Anticipating adequately supported content is truly something to look forward to. When decisions are made deliberately and with robust backing, various possibilities come to mind. Yet, envision a time when the podcasting realm felt solitary, constrained to specific demographics, and seemingly devoid of companionship. However, as it transitions into the mainstream, attracting content creators and artists, it becomes clear that their purpose extends beyond mere conversation; they aim to engage with their audiences across diverse topics.

Jim and Saab’s path to achieving recognition as a household name in the country’s podcasting community still maintains its purpose. It’s not just about pursuing it as a hobby; rather, it’s a tribute to reconnecting with their core values and rekindling the drive to share and express their ideas for the greater good rather than being solely driven by monetary gain.

When asked what is a big no for them when it comes to people wanting to start a podcast, Jim stated emphatically, “Big no-no when starting a podcast, doing it for money, and thinking that, okay, this is a way to make a quick buck.” He appeared to speak from a standpoint where money isn’t a genuine motivator for impacting others’ lives through content creation. Essentially, being driven solely by these factors shouldn’t be the primary motive, as it diminishes the joy of the endeavor and can lead to burnout over time.

More so, Saab followed up with a remark aimed at those who underestimate podcast content creators or anyone venturing into the podcast scene: “A big no-no is thinking that, ang dali lang nito, hindi ko kailangan maligo tapos mag-record ako ng boses ko. Ang dali lang nito!” She concluded with a sarcastic laugh and promptly clarified that it’s anything but easy.
